Which idiot ran over the dog?

Just now as I was driving home after a visit to the doctor, I saw something moving in the middle of the road. It was dark, about 9.00 p.m. and I swerved to the side of the road to avoid hitting the moving object. At first I thought it was a snake, you know, like a cobra with it’s head held up and moving from side to side. After I passed it, I looked at my rear mirror and my heart almost stopped…. some idiot had run over a dog. What I saw moving was its tail while it’s body was lying helpless on the road. I can only hope that the poor dog didn’t have to suffer long before dying.

Sometimes you can’t imagine how people can be so cruel to dogs. About a couple of months ago, I saw the Bandaraya dog catchers doing their rounds near my housing estate. All I can say is that the method they used was simply cruel, hence I won’t bother describing what the guy did to the stray dogs. I just hope he has nightmares of dogs doing the same thing to him.

I used to have dogs at home and they are good and friendly dogs. However, very often, my dogs will be disturbed by children shouting at them and running around in front of my house with the intention of teasing my dogs. Some have even thrown stones at my dogs.  Now that I don’t have any dogs, I don’t have to shout “Hoi!!” at all those incorrigible children.
